Hi my name is Aileen, owner and senior stylist here at heads High. I have been a fully qualified hairdresser since I was 18 and have been hairdressing professionally for over 25 years, both mobile and salon based.  I started Heads High back in 2012, having worked in salons and doing mobile for several years it seemed that having a salon was the next step in my progression as a hairdresser.

 

It is important for any professional stylist to keep up to date with all things hairdressing related so I keep my skills and techniques fresh by attending courses to ensure I am always up to date with the latest colouring, cutting and hair-up styles and techniques, together with colour correction treatments and health and safety awareness,

I live in Stoke-on-Trent with my fiance and twin sons, together with our shih tzu (TJ).  It is my great love of music, especially dancehall reggae that inspired the name of the salon.  My favourite song is Heads High by Mr Vegas (lol) so I always knew that if I ever owned a salon what I would name it, and so in 2012 Heads High Salon was born!
